I pay affiliates 30% on ebooks and digital audiobooks. 15% on paperbacks. The paperbacks are a lower commission because they cost more to produce and ship.
How much you earn depends on how many books you sell. This offer has an average order value of $42, so 30% of that is $12.60.
How do you track sales from my affiliate links?
I use ThriveCart to sell my books, and they have a built-in affiliate program. So they keep track of all the sales that come from your unique link. You'll be paid 14 days after the sale, which is when the return window closes.
When will I get paid my commission?
14 days after the sale—since that's the return window.
What do I have to do?
Just share your unique link which you'll receive after your application is approved. Blog posts, TikToks, Instagram reels, stories, Facebook posts, Discord servers, group chats— wherever you genuinely talk about books or how pissed off you are at this shit show of a timeline.

I published my first book in 2011 on KDP—Amazon's self publishing platform. By 2013 I was a full time author exclusive to Amazon's Kindle Unlimited Program. The exclusivity struck me as a classic example of having all my eggs in one billionaire's evil basket.
So I started selling my books on all platforms and using paid ads to promote my work. It became obvious as my spend and reach increased that I was paying to acquire customers for Amazon and other giant corporations while paying Meta, another soulless organization, to do it. Which honestly, sucked.
